Hello,Kathey. I just went on the Loudon County site for the first time. I noticed that you were able to help Kathy Phipps locate relatives buried in Loudon.
My paternal grandmother, Josephine (Linde) Brumley was born in Loudon, Tennessee September 21, 1884. Sometime between 1884 and 1900 the family moved to Harriman, Roane County, Tennessee. The mother and part of the family were on the 1900 Census in Harriman, but the father wasn't. I think that he must have died between 1884 and 1900, probably in Loudon. The mother, Josephine (Shaw) Linde died March 2, 1914 and is buried in Harriman, but he wasn't. I believe he might be buried in Loudon. His name was Joseph (aka George Joseph) Linde and was born in 1820 in Tetchen, Bohemia, Germany. I would be so grateful if you could help me. From what I have been able to find, no death records were kept in Tennessee at that time. Thank you. My email address is: rockingranny@comcast.net
