In 1900, the Macon Co, TN census has Thomas M. Belt and wife Mary J. "unknown" married for 15 years. Mary J. was formerly married to James Fitts (in the 1880 Macon Co., TN census)
Her Fitts children are:
James Henry Fitts born June 30, 1877
Malinda Dora Fitts born Dec 16, 1881 (married John H. Morgan) lived in Macon County, TN
There is son Jacob Belt, who is 17, I'm assuming from Thomas' first wife.
Louisa Belt Jan 1889
Susan Daisy Belt Jan 1891 (married William P. Ausbrooks)
Nettie B. Belt Feb 1893 (Married John Martin Dinkins)
Laura B. Belt Apr 1895 (married Bishop Britt)
Louisiana Belt Oct 1899
This family ended up in Allen Co., KY
I know Thomas died before 1920, as Mary is widowed in the 1920 census. Mary J. Belt died Nov 6, 1940 in Allen Co., KY.

I have some awesome old photos of Mary J taken circa 1933 in her long black dresses she used to wear. She was my great great great grandmother.
