I'm looking for Mattie Pipkin of Mason/Macon Tennessee. She is listed in my g grandmother's (Minnie Hopper Wallace)obit (see below). There are several errors in the obit; that aside, the errors aren't that drastic.
I'm not sure if Mattie is the true sister or simply a sister-in-law to Minnie. She does not appear in census as a sibling. Minnie had a brother (Robert C. Hopper) who lived and passed in the Tipton area. Is Mason/Macon and Tipton the same area?
I'm simply trying to place her connection to Minnie and her known siblings (Robert, James and William). Minnie's known parent is Sarah (?) Hopper born about May 1844; unknown father.

Wallace and Willie F. Wallace of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. E. M. Carter of Okemah, Okla.: sister of Mattie Pipkin of Mason, Tenn., and Robert C. Hopper of Covington, Tenn. Services will be announced by the E. H. Preston Funeral Home, directors.
