Hello Madison County Friends!
I am trying to find the location of Ranger, TN. I know that it was in Madison County from 1892 until 1913. My grandfather and several of his siblings were born there.
Their family is in the 1900 census for Madison County as follows: Leander and Jennie Teater, Civil District 13, Madison County. My grandmother was Jenny Cupp and first married William G. Brooks on June 13, 1880 in Hardeman County TN. Their children were George and Bette. She married Leander Teater on Nov. 13, 1888 in Tipton County TN.
I would love any information on the Teater, Cupp or Brooks families and to know the location of RANGER, TN or Civil District 13 in Madison County.
