I am looking for information on the Goebel family of Madison county, Tn.
Dora and Fred Goebel had two children; Charles and Dora.
I know Charles had a son named Albert. Fred, Charles and Albert were all musicians. I believe they were members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Jackson Tenn.
I'm trying to determine if Charles had any other children, possibly a daughter.
Charles had a sister named Dora. I would like to find out what became of her. Did she marry? Did she die sometime between 1880 and 1900? Did she have a child out of wedlock?
My great grand mother was Anna Goebel and she was born in Tennessee. Supposedly she was sent to Kentucky to live with her uncle William Goebel who was elected governor of Kentucky. He was killed before he took office in 1900. My great grandmother married William Davis in Kentucky and she died in Ohio in 1910. That is all we know about her. Through research I discovered Fred, Dora and Charles Goebel living next to William Goebel's family in 1860 in Pa. Fred, Dora and Charles moved to Tenn after the civil war. But I have never found any concrete evidence that Fred, Dora and Charles are connected to my great grandmother. Help!
