You might look at the Doswell Rogers line from Virginia that with a William Roberts and others were long-hunters with Daniel Boone. I am in contact with a researcher that is following his line of a grand-daughter of Doswell and a Roberts that went from Hawkins Co>White Co>Walker Co, Georgia. Marion Co. is in line with this migration, so I presume good chance is related.
