Looking for any information on Ebenezer Beck born abt 1800 in North Carolina?? died 1839 Marshall, Tennessee. Married Sarah Sally Hopwood born abt 1811 died 1899 buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Jonesboro, Craighead, Arkansas. After Ebenezer's death Sarah married Elijah Alexander Mays and James Stalhcup. Ebenezer and Sarah's children
Clarke Hopwood Beck born abt 1828 Bedford, Tn died?? married Jane Caneer in 1848 and then Sarah A. Wells in 1860 in Marshall, TN.
Elliott Beck born abt 1832 Marshall, TN died?? married also a Jane Caneer. Family member tells me that the Jane Caneers were sister, one use Jane for first name and other used Jane as middle name. Dont know if thats true!
Mary Polly Beck born abt 1834 married Harvery Dorton
Melinda Jane Beck born abt 1835 married William Dorton
Martha Beck born abt 1838 married Lafeyette Dorton
Dorton's moved to Jonesboro, Craighead, Arkansas. All of them are buried in the Ransom Cemetery in Craighead County.
