I am still looking for the ancestry of James F. Meeks who lived in Marshall County, Tennessee. In the 1850 Marshall County census, James and his wife Sophia Jane Luna, lived next door to Nacy Meeks and his wife, Susan.
I have traced the ancestry of Nacy Meeks, but can't find James F. Meeks. I do believe that there is a connection there. In 1850, James was 27 years old and Nacy was 37.
James was born in Tennessee and was in the 1850, 1870 and 1880 Marshall county census listings.
James was first married to Polly Ann Hardin and had a son, William. He was married second to Sophia Jane Luna and had several more children.
I will appreciate any help finding the ancestry of James.
