Your post does not indicate if you are searching for a city, stream of water or maybe a park. I was born in Giles County, but grew living in Bedford and Moore Counties, Tennessee. I currently live in Pennsylvania. The following examples my be of help:
EX 1. There is a Rock Creek Rd. In Tullahoma, Coffee, Tn. This Rd. run between HW 130 and 41, bordering Coffee and Franklin Counties.
EX 2. There are records of primitiv Baptist Church at Concord, located near Fayetteville, Franklin County, Tn. This Church was first organized ABT 1810 on Rock Creek, in what was then a part of Maury County, Tn.
Ex 3. Then there is a Rock Creek located in Marshall County, Tn.,a small community with a population of ABT 5,000 people, located between Chapel Hill and Lewisburg, Tn. Driving directions starting at Chapel Hill... go south
on 31A to junction 64. turn right, go west to junction 272... turn left on 272 south. At this point, you will have look for an exit to Rock Creek, as the Map does show an exit road number. However, keep in mind that this ROCK CREEK Community is between Chapel Hill and Lewisburg, Tn./
