Hi Judith, just saw your post and I'm very interested in the Ware picture. If I'm not mistaken William Jay was a minister b. 1839 with parents of Allen Ware and Ruth Dodson. He married Anna Caldwell b.1826?
Allen and Ruth are my gggg grandparents. Have you had any luck in finding out much about them? I'm trying to find where they were married. Any assistance greatly appreciated
