Fosters from SC to MO

Hello McMinn County
Its been some years since I posted here but I have an opportunity to visit McMinn Co. in July and so am once again renewing my efforts to solve some Foster mysteries.

My earliest known is John Foster b. 1752 in Union County SC. His son Jarrett married Dorcus Moseley, thought to be daughter of James Thomas "Old-Hi Key" Moseley a rather famous character in the region.

Jarrett and brother Frederick left SC to McMinn Co. TN where my great grandfather Andrew J. Foster was born.

They later moved to the Missouri border with Kansas where I have had the pleasure of meeting up with some long lost cousins the last time I ventured into these forums. (Cousins, if you can see me, please contact me - I have been out of touch for too long).

Any information or pointers would be so welcome as I truly hope to learn more about how these people lived, what they experienced, and where my family came from.

Greg Foster - Edmonton Canada
