We have information ab Matilda Catherine Perry, m Joe Coffman. dob for Catherine is 1859, dod 1929 in Meigs Co. She and Joe were married 1 Feb 1885.
Catherine was the youngest of the 9 children of Allen and Matilda McKeehan Perry. The family shows in the 1850 census in Meigs Co 259-745. Allen, 25, b NC, Matilda 23, b TN, Sara 5 b TN, Mary E 4 b TN, Martha C(aroline) b TN, James F 1 b TN.
We have her siblings and their marriages, and a few of Allen's brothers and sisters, but we have been unable to go much further back with any proof.
Would be glad to share any Perry information we have, if you are interested, and we would appreciate knowing something of the children of Catherine and Joe. My husband's ggrandfather was Catherine's brother James Franklin "Preacher" Perry.
