I am searching for any information on Jessee Carter & wife Lavenia unknown.Jessee was born ABT 1822-23,TN and Lavenia was born ABT 1826, TN. They are in the 1850 Federal census with their son Houston Carter - age 2 . Jesse & Lavenia are my 3rd G Grandparents. Their son Houston would be my 2nd G Grandfather. I would like to find the parents of both Jessee & Lavenia. I would appreciate any help I can get. I have run into a brick wall, especially concerning Lavenia's parents & her maiden name.
