Need information as to who the parents of WILLIAM W. INGRAM might be. He lived in Hardin Co. TN prior to moving to Carroll Co. AR, and he married MARTHA NICHOLS the daughter of DAVID NICHOLS, formerly of Hardin Co. TN to Carroll Co. AR. We feel that the INGRAMS might be related to other NICHOLS in both HARDIN and McNAIRY CO. TN but so far can't find the connection we need for WILLIAM W. INGRAMS parents. It might be that WILLIAM W. INGRAM b. abt. 1816 TN or NC would fit into the family of NEEDHAM INGRAM, Sr. and wife NANCY KING for they had a son named WILLIAM INGRAM b. abt. 1820. NEEDHAM INGRAM and wife NANCY KING may be buried in the old INGRAM Cemetery in McNairy Co. TN, but so far I have not been able to find much more than this mention of a son named WILLIAM INGRAM b. abt. 1820. Some think this could be our line who are in the NEEDHAM INGRAM line, but not enough data is known on the WILLIAM INGRAM of McNAIRY CO. TN to say with any certainty that he is same person as our WILLIAM W. INGRAM b. abt. 1816 NC or TN who moved to Carroll Co. AR and md. MARTHA NICHOLS. Help is needed on our INGRAM line of CARROLL CO. AR, and we do have some more info if anyone is interested after this family moved to AR. We just need more data from TN to determine which INGRAM family is our line. Thanks, Tina Rogers Beller. *************************** TINA ROGERS BELLER FILES on INGRAMS : JAMES K. P. BELLER, III files shows a letter written on Nov. 12, 1974 by Dorothy Henley out of the BELLER / INGRAM line in which she stated following oral history of INGRAM family : " I have no information on the INGRAMS except a few things I have picked up in conversations with people around Harrison. They were of the French Huguenots Society or French Protestants. They brought slaves and horses and cattle with them when they came to Arkansas. It was unusual to have horses also not too many people brought slaves with them to North Arkansas. " 1840 Carroll Co.
