Thos. Howell Whitmore 1872 Meigs,TN d 1914 LeFlore,OK
John Howell Whitmore, b 1849 Meigs,TN d 1900, OK
Howell Whitmore, b 1811, Meigs,TN d 1896, Meigs, TN
Jesse Whitmore, b ca 1773, Brunswick Co., VA
died aft 1830 Meigs,TN
?Charles Whitmore, b 1753 MD, d ? Augusta, VA?
Jesse Whitmore is found in the 1830 census of Meigs/Rhea Co. with a son and daughter (no names or exact ages).
Charles Whitmore was found on internet. No proof of a link with Jesse.
It is believed Jesse had two brothers: Howell and Charles who along with Jesse are found in 1790 census, Orange Co., VA. A NC marriage record is found for Jesse and Sarah Murphy. Probably Jesse's mother's name is "Mildred".
