I have "a" Smith in Giles Co TN but, unfortunately, he isn't connectd in any way to those previously listed. I am searching for info on Ben Smith born 1800-1825. Married Annie ______ abt 1858. A son, Cory, died in early childhood. Daughter Martha Ann born 1860 married James M. Gillaspie of Jackson Co AL. Martha & family moved to AR and TX and took her mother with her. Ben disappeared in early 1860s...Civil War? Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
