Mastin Family: McMinn County and other counties. Thomas White Mastin settled near Athens, TN in the early 1800's. All of his sons served for the Confederacy in the Civil War.

His son, John Jerome Mastin moved to KC, MO prior to the Civil War and operated the "Mastin Bank" in KC, MO. After the Civil War all of JJM's brothers moved from Tennessee to KCMO. Several of the brothers and nephews and nieces were prominent in KCMO business and politics. Thomas A. Mastin was the JACOMO county prosecutor in the early 1900's.

Looking for any descendants living in TN, MO, or elsewhere in the US. Have currently identified about 14 Rev. War Patriots in this line. Please contact me.
