Denton, I have a Peter I Dykes, born 1816 in Claiborne Co. Tn. m. Nancy Bounds 3 Mar, 1880 in Pulaski Co. Ky. d. aft. 1880. in Pulaski Co. Ky. Son of William Dykes & Sally Gartner.William was b. in Greenbrier Co. would be W.Va. now. Is this the person you are looking for? Peter had brothes, Elijah, Eli, John, sisters, Nancy, Mary Ann, & Elizabeth Dykes. My ancestor is Jesse Dykes II. Mary Kinney
