I am interested in learning more about my grandfather, David Morgan Evans. He and his second wife, Mary Elizabeth Treece Evans lived in a house next to Carson Newman College during the late 1800's/early 1900's. They had two daughters - Ruth and Katherine.

My grandmother, Mary Elizabeth, opened the house as a Tea room and boarding house for college students after the death of my grandfather.
