Hello there all;
I find this really interesting now, and confusing! Since Juanita and I share the same grandparents. Did Edly live in the Chapel, and where? When my grandmother passed away (Claiborne's daughter)the children were put in John Tarleton Orphanage. My father, John Henry Graham, later was sent to a foster home in Irwins Chapel, just up from Sharps Chapel on the upper penninsula. His foster mother was Sac Sharp, who had three daughters; Mossie, Maggie, and Bonnie. Mossie was married to Bill Beeler, Maggie to John Graves, and Bonnie to Bate Ousley. Their homes were all up in the Lost Creek, Big Valley area of the Chapel. Is it possible there was a family connection here?
