I am trying to locate information on the four Chamness family members of John Chamness and Sarah Sally Berry who remained in Tennessee in the 1700's. The children were Fannie Chamness, thought to have married a man with the last name Arnett; Berry Chamness, William Chamness who married Anna Reynolds; and Betty Chamness, who was born, married, and remained in East Tennessee.
The other children kept moving on to Illinois. John Chamness was my GGG Grandfather. His son Wiley Berry was my GG Grandfather and Michael Monroe Chamness was my G Grandfather.
