Here's a starting point:

1900 Federal Census - Tennessee - Stewart County (NOT Dover County) - 6th Civil District

WALLACE Family
Al, 24, born 10/75
Viola, 24, born 08/75
Doris, 3, born 02/97
Dudley, 6/12, born 12/98

Al and Viola had been married 3 years; she had had 2 children, both still living. He was a Clerk in Dry Goods. All (and their parents) had been born in Kentucky.

1910 Federal Census - Kentucky - Livingston County - 2nd Magisterial District

WALLACE Family
Viola F., 31
Dudley, 12
Mary L., 8

Viola was widowed, had had 2 children (both still living), and was a Milliner in Dress Making. Dudley had been born in Tennessee; the others (and their parents) had been born in Kentucky.

...................

Might be worth looking at the 1880/1920/1930 censuses, and the Social Security Death Index.

Good luck!
