In the Kentucky Death records...there is a Hubert Fields that was 54 years old that died in Pike Co. Ky on July 3, 1979...The Death records can be ordered by Volume 905, Certificate: 00823 and Death Volume 1979...This Hubert was a brother to Pauline...and he was born 1925...From talking to Pauline you can ask her how much older her brother was...which would help...
Also...Tennessee birth records are available from the State of Tennessee in Nashville beginning January 1914..
There are other folks you may want to contact that has been studying the Fields generations....Maybe you can contact the person that wrote this article for more information:

Any info about Samuel Fields,Mary Ann(Blalock)Fields, or SamuelsI am sending you a page from the 1920 White Co. census records...At house 61/54/57 is Casto Fields..and his wife: Birdie L...both are 19 years old and both born in Tennessee. They lived in the town of Bon Air....At that time...Bon Air was a booming town with big coal mines and employed lots of people. This census record was taken on January 6, 1920. I do not have the 1930 census
According to the marriage record...they married in March 1919 and this is January 1920...Pauline would have a birth record someplace...I do believe...Have you checked other places befI saw your inquiry in the White Co. Tn. forum...if you will give me just a little more information...then maybe I can help...I have lots of information in White County...Was Pauline's name when she was born...Pauline Farley...is that the name she went by or was it Pauline Fields? Was she raised by her mother in White Co ? Was her mother's last name Rose or was that her first name? Was her mother married to a Farley?
I would be glad to try and help....And do you know if they have any family that might be buried in White Co? Father, Mother, Sister, Grandparents?

After asking all those questions...I have a book called "White Co. Marriage Records June 1881-March 1921" and on page 151 is this record:
March 15, 1919 Casto Fields married Birdie Rose...THis will give me something to go on...
Pauline "Fields" Farley b. 1922, White County, Tennessee, Mother, part Cherokee Virdie "Birdie" Rose. Pauline doesn't know her birthdate, just that she was born in 1922. Her grandaughter emailed me to see if I could find out anything more. Thanks, Donna
