Hi Barbara, I have the marriage certificate of Elizabeth Roden & Wm H Roden at Perry county, Tennessee on 5 Apr1873 I know of 2 children--Fannie and Vinsen. All born in Tenn. One census says that the parents are born in S.C. and one says N.C. and one says that Elizabeth parent are from Alabama. So I an not sure which. i need to do more research on them. I have been working more on the Allmon line.--The Fords I am just learning about too. I have Powell Ford who married Mary E Anderson and when she died and her sister's husband died (Charles W. Almon) Powell Married her. Eleanora Anderson,Almon, and then Ford. And charles W. Almon first wife was Rebecca Ford- Powell Ford's sister. Powell & Rebecca's parents are-Robert Ford born abt 1795 in Peerson co. N.C. and Phoebe Warren born abt 1814. don't where. The kids are-Jehashuba born abt 1822 in VA- David F.ord abt 1824 in VA- Lucy Ford born 12 Dec 1825, VA.- powell F. 29 Jun 1828 Halifax co. VA.-Rebecca Ford avt 1836 NC? David, Lucy, Powell,& Rebecca all were married in either Lauderdale County or Haywood county Tennessee. Does this help any? I had a door open pretty wide on the Allmon line when Lori Snoddy saw a quarry I put up way back in 2002 in Rootsweb. Her Grannie new what I needed to know and it was like Christmas. Anyway If this helps, I have a few more ford names. Dianne
