My apologies... I should've given reference dates.
George was born abt 1769 in VA. His daughter, Leah Jackson (who married John Bacon) was born c. 1797 Washington Co TN.
The couple you located would have been from a later generation. The Jobes and Jacksons were prolific in that County. Thank you for your effort.
