Thanks, Gary. The first Thomas J you list is definitely my great-grandfather. It's the last three of which I'm not sure & looking for proof. Nowhere have I found him named Thomas Jefferson Stokes. Many genealogists take the family found in Webster Co., MO & Carroll Co., TN & name my Thomas Jefferson in Arkansas as a descendent. I can't prove it & have seen no records or sources in family trees. Still looking!!!
