NEED info of the above surname of AfricanAmerican ancestors.
Are these surnames all connected?
Were they slaves and if so, who was the slaveholder?
Is there a connection to the SC/NC/VA residents of the same
surname?
Is there a connection to the WEEDEN Native surname of RI?
WM LAWRENCE WEELDON, born 1829 SC, was my ggrandfather and
I am wondering if he could have been in TN or KY as I fail
to find any info on him prior to 1870, when he appears in
Wilmington, NC.
Are there any descendants who might share family history?
