Va. Bells to Rutherford Co. TN around 1820

Help please! I am lost in a bell maze. From what I have read from the post on genforum some of you seem to be very knowledgeable of the Virginia Bell families. I am not. I have been researching my gr-gr-grandfather for over a year now and I seem to have reached a dead end. I was hoping someone could help. It would be so greatly appreciated.
My gr-gr-grandtathers name is Joseph C. Bell he was born abt. 1802 in Va. according to the 1850 census. By 1830 (the first census he appears on as an adult) he has migrated to Rutherford County, TN. is married to a Tennessean Evaline _________ and has children (one of which was my grand father).
Joseph C. is deceased by the Sept. court term of 1850.He left no will but he had several pages of property sold according to his estate inventory with Evaline, heir and guardian of his minor children.estate settlement dated Jan. 28, 1856 Davidson County TN.
On the 1860 census Evaline is listed with her minor children also listed are the orphan children (America 6 months old and her brother Robert P. Bell 3 yrs) of John L. Bell 26 born Va. and his wife Catharine Thomas Bell 25 born TN. I feel like they must be a relative but I don't know how.
Evalines' will is probated in 1861 her children (heirs) are listed as;
Obediah G. Bell= bn abt 1824 in Rutherford Co. - this is my connection - my gr-grandfather
Nancy
Ransom P. bn 1831
Noah C. bn 1837
Elizabeth bn 1844
Joshua M.
Lorenzo C. bn .1839
William K. bn 1861 (he dies @ 19 in May of 1860 from consumption) is not listedin Evalines' will.
She also leaves America and her brother Robert P.a sum of money. I have wondered if John L. could be another son (like William K.) who has died before her and is therefore not listed in her will. There is a John L. listed on the 1830 Census Rutherford co. as 30-40 yrs. old. On the 1840 he is 40-50 yrs. old. On the 1850 there is a John L. bn 1824 Tn., which would make him abt 26 (this is America and Robert P.s father) I don't know if this John L. is the son of the older John L. or Joseph C. or perhaps the older John L.is Father or brother to Joseph C.
My problem is going backward from my gr-gr-grandfather Joseph C. Bell. There are many Bells from Va. in Rutherford and the surrounding counties in TN. at this time.Known Bells in Rutherford county at that time were;
James Bell bn. Va. Wife Susannah Lewis Bell
sons: Elisha, William, Samuel, and Lewis Bell
daughters: Sally Deloach , Elizabeth, Margaret Tennison,Mary,Sally, Nancy Emeline per will dated May28,1828 and probated Sept. 1828 Rutherford Co. TN.
Samuel Bell Sr. born Va. wife Jain
sons John, Samuel Green Bell, James, Robert, Thomas
daughters: Jane Arr, Isabella Williamson, Sarah, Martha - Per will dated September 18, 1819 Rutherford Co. TN.
Middleton Bell born Va. wife Rebeckah
Sons: Jeremiah, Dotson, William per will dated Dec. 31, 1814 recorded Aug. 16, 1815
Middleton Bell born Va. wife Rebeckah
Sons: Jeremiah, Dotson, William per will dated Dec. 31, 1814 recorded Aug. 16, 1815
Other Va. Bells listed in the area were (Robert) Fielding Bell bn Va.over 45 in 1820, Joseph G. born Va. abt.1800 , Jeremiah bn. Va. over 45 in 1820, Icim age 16-26 in 1820, Micajah bm Va. age 26-45 in 1820, Absalom bn. Va. abt. 1790, Zachariah P. Bell bn Va. abt 1800, Jefferson Bell and a Jfferson Bell bn. Va about 1800 Census 1830, Samuel G. Bell age 26-46, James B. 26-45 per 1820 census, Benjamin H.bn Va. age40-50, Susannah Lewis Bell age 50-60, William H. Bn. Va age 40-50, Zdick or Zadock Bell bn Va. age 30+40 in 1830. James B. Bell bn Va 1790 wife Lucinda bn Va. 1797.
I have more info and wouuld be happy to trade with anyone who can help. I desperately want to connect these Bells to their ancestors.
