Do the owners of the funeral home know who they bought it from? I found the national Social Security Death Index (http://ssdi. rootsweb.com)and checked all John Watsons for 1976, and nothing, not a single one even born in the same year! So I suspect more and more that he died elsewhere and perhaps was not even really buried in the US. But maybe if the birth records show something and we can find out his mother's name, then perhaps we can trace someone who knew her, some relative or friend, perhaps even trace his passport to find out his last whereabouts...
