Looking for information on Charles Grant who married Nancy Walker my 2nd great grandparents, my great grandmother Elnora Mariah Elizabeth Jane Grant said she was born in Lowden Co., Tn
1864. Lowden Co. wasn't formed then but I don't know what County it was. Charles died shortly after she was born, some said he disappeared. We have found some documents that said Elnora's last name was Ragen/Ragan but when anyone asked her about it she said it was nothing. She wouldn't even talk about her father, it was taboo. She also had 2 brothers William and Thomas; one of them had a coal mine in Jellico, TN. in the 1900s sometime. If anyone has any information please let me know, i've been looking 19yrs on some clue about them. Elnora died in Shelby Co., IN 1946 THANKS
