Robin,
I was so glad to find your post. It is really quite exciting when you think you may have found a distant relative. I have been trying to find any information I can on the lineage of Murray Martin Bryant Sr. He was born 1884 somewhere in TN. I know from stories handed down that his mother, who was conincidentally half Cherokee, and siblings were killed drinking from a poisoned well when he and his father were out hunting. Shortly after that, he went to live with an Addie and John A Price in Coffee, TN. The 1900 Census puts him in the household with them at age 15. Can you shed any light on what the relation might have been? If Addie was a Bryant, maybe she was the Sister to my Great Great Grandfather, and Aunt to Murray Martin Bryant Sr., my Great Grandfather. Do you have a tree showing anything on Addie and John A? Maybe we could ask their siblings about the Bryant side. Email me please. Jon.Bryant@alltel.com
