Not familiar with Obion Co Tn but we recently found a marriage record for my husband's grand parents in Sullivan Co.where we did not expect it. All we had was a nickname "Bud" and her name was Lydia Isaccs. His name was Abram. They aparently moved on to Russell Co Va . Their son Dewey Hobert married Euna Salling of Ft Blackmore Va. daughter of Gen John B Salling, last living vet of Civil War.
Being surprised that the marriage record for Abram and Lydia was in Sullivan Co leads us to believe he may have been from even further down in Tn. There has been no research on the Isaccs yet. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.
