Dear Cousin Jack: I've been searching for the parentage of TN Porter OUTLAW, my 3rd g-grandmother, for years. I've never heard the idea that she was Cherokee. I've heard that she might have been illegitimate! I'm assuming you're researching the PARCHMAN line also. John PARCHMENT and Margaret ________ are as far back as I've traced that line. Do you have anything else? I wonder if you descend from Alex or his brother John C. Parchman?
