Nellie Shanks shows up in 1910 U.S. Census for Montgomery County. She lived as a stepdaughter with a Spicer family in Clarksville at that time No trace of her or the Spicer family in the 1920 Census. They vanished! All may have died in the 1918 flu epidemic? Grateful for any informaton.
