I've done a good bit of research on Hursts in Morgan, Fentress & Rhea County TN & have no knowledge of an Isaac, and no Samuel until 1850s, in any of those three counties. My research started with Jeremiah Hurst, my 3rd ggf, who was 1st Hurst in Morgan Co. He came from Wythe Co. VA by way of Claiborne Co. TN & arrived in Morgan in 1822. All of Fentress & some of Rhea Co. Hursts are descended from him.
