pat have you looked at LDS. found more info on lewis. but never take any info off that site as total truth. he or she lists lewis as dying in 1888 and being buried at lavender cemt. has his parents as nathaniel howard and patricia green. lewis's kids catherine 1840/1906 married to john garrett on 8-30-1860 which could be right she is not in the 1870 cen with family. 1860 cen was taken 7-13-1860. samuel 1844/1913 married to susan langley on 12-19-1872 this also could be correct. elisha 1846/1909 married to millie adkins 12-23-1869 believe they are buried at lavender-osage. elizabeth 1852/1889 married to jeremiah goad 2-18-1874 this also could be right.rebecca 1857/1918 married to john shannon 1887. there were no kids listed for anyone. listed lewis and kissiah marriage as 1838 in deer lodge. that date makes more sense than 1833 for the first child was born in 1840 if information is correct. they usually didn't wait long. kissiah would have been about 21. if they had married in 1833 she would only have been 16 and him 18. j
