On the 1900 census, John and Allie had three children: Carry, Lurlene and Homer. Based on this information, I think this is the family in future censuses:

1910 Census
District 13, Obion County, TN
Enumerated 9 May 1910

Catron, Hugh F. – Head, 52, Widowed, b. TN, Parents b. TN, Farmer-General Farm
Catron, Carrie – Daughter, 29, Single, b. TN, Parents b. TN, Bookkeeper-Furniture Store
Catron, Homer – Son, 19, Single, b. TN, Parents b. TN, Salesman-Jewelry Store

***************

1920 Census
District 13, Obion County, TN
Enumerated on (blank)

Catron, Hugh F. – Head, 63, Widowed, b. TN, Parents b. TN
Catron, Carrie – Daughter, 36, Single, b. TN, Parents b. TN
Catron, Thomas H. – Son, 30, b. TN, Parents b. TN

This page of the census has lots of black smudges. I am unable to make out what was recorded in the occupation columns.

For an excellent description of what birth and death records are available, check out the Tennessee State Archives’ website. Here’s a link:

You may want to check Obion County cemetery transcriptions for the Catrons:

I don’t know of any marriage transcriptions online for the early 1900’s.

Microfilm of Obion County marriage records for the years 1838-1915 are available though LDS Family History Centers. You can also try contacting the Obion County Clerk’s office. They have been very kind to me in checking their indexes for marriages when writing or calling.

Obion County Clerk’s Office

Union City, TN 38261
Phone: (731) 885-3831

Hope this helps. Best wishes in your search! :-)
