I belong to the Reeder family from Overton Co. TN, I personally lived in Livingston for a while before moving back to North East Ohio. My last ancestor to be born in Overton Co. TN was Talford Manus Reeder m. Bessy Burgess. I've inqueried in a few other forums and have been told I'm descendant from the Robert Reader m. Grace Brigham line, but I cannot seem to make my relatives fit into that line. The issue arose with my ancestor James Reeder, rootsweb had him listed as a son of William Reeder, but all the genealogies I've seen have James listed as a brother to William and thus a son of Thomas, but the issue with that is, Thomas would have had to be around 80 years old when James was born, and I don't hear of many people in their 80's having children now adays, let alone back then when the medical advancements of today did not exist. Any help in placing my family into this line, or another would be greatly appreciated. Below is an outline of my Reeder lineage given the information I've been able to aquire.
