Mike: The funeral home in Anderson who handled the body was Rex McCarty funeral home, which is no longer in business. What little information they passed on to the library, I gave to you in the prior email.

Pearlie's obituary states that "The Body was taken to the Rex McCarty funeral home an dtonight will be shipped to Crawford, Tenn her home, for funeral and burial, on July 1.

Please not that Pearlie died in 1943 NOT 1946. Per the obituary she was to be buried in Tennessee on July 1, 1943.

Thank you for the logistics. I plan on bringing my expedition so we should be o.k. to get up the mountain. I plan on letting my dad do the driving. Laughing.
