I find my ancestors, Benjamin Potter, Benjamin Thomas,
Samuel McCaig/McCage on tax lists in Perry County ca 1835--1837. Ben Potter and Ben Thomas were Sam McCaig's sons-in-
law and they were chain carriers when they surveyed Sam's
200 acres on the Buffalo River in 1837.
Samuel McCaig's brothers are also found in this area..
Jacob and William.
Any information on these three families and there whereabouts before and after this time,& parentage of
Samuel and Ben Potter, would be appreciated.
