Hello Mary,
Don't know if I can help BUT in my Kelly family records I have that Henzekia (not sure of spelling, may be Hezekial) Gunter married Polly (Mary) Kelly in Williamson, TN on 19 Dec. 1818.
Mary Kelly was daughter of James Kelly b. 1787 in VA, later moved to TN, died abt 1840.
My line, William Thomas Kelly was a brother to Mary, married Rutha Alexander, they raised 12 kids in Perry County TN and are burried there.
Sorry, I have no more Gunter information bur suspect I have some Gunter "cousins".
