location for old Kanester, Bates, & Jenkins farms

I am trying to locate the sites of the old homesteads for the following families: Martin Bates, Greenberry Bates, Reuben Kanester, Augustus "Gus" Kanester, Tillman Jenkins.
One source mentions the Kanesters living "next to the Thomas Ross place which was the Old Harrison Mill place on Horton Bridge Road". I know a couple of distant famiy members have that information, but their emails have changed and I have no way to reach them. I will be traveling through the area next week and would love to find these places. These people date back to the late 1800s, early 1900's and most of the Kanester family moved to Oklahoma along with Green Bates. I believe some Bates siblings did stay in the area. One source mentions a Bates Cemetary on Greasy Creek. Reuben Kanester was one of the original settlers before it was even Polk Co. moving there in 1828. Any help would be appreciated!
