William Chandler

My greatgrandfather, William Prescott Chandler and his wife "Nora" or "Alnore" are buried in Monterey. (I've been told the monument incorrectly lists his middle name as "Preston.") I have never seen the graves.

My father told me that William sent his wife and children to the area to live with relatives in the 1890s. She died around 1900. Their daughter Blanche also died. My grandfather, the only surviving child, was sent to Wisconsin to live with an aunt. Are there any Chandlers in Putnam County whose grandparents, greatgrandparents etc. lived in the Monterey area?
