Thomas C. Pile, b 1784 son of William Pile

For years my brick wall has been my Cedron Pile, b abt 1804 in Kentucky. I knew nothing of his heritage. Recently, it was brought to my attention, that in Rhea Co., TN, on Jan 12, 1832, a Thomas C. Pile and Cedron Pile, witnessed a deed for 200 acres of land from Allen Holland and Polly Holland to William N. Merriott. It was also brought to my attention, that this Thomas C. Pile might be the father of my Cedron Pile since they were linked together by this deed as witnesses.
Is there anyone out there who can claim this Thomas C. Pile in their line and can verify that Cedron Pile might be his son? This Thomas C. Pile's wife was supposed to have been named "Betsy". There was a William W. Pile of Rhea Co., TN, b 1808 in KY that has been thought to be a son of Thomas and possibly a brother to my Cedron.

Cedron was married twice, with children from both marriages. From the first marriage to an unknown lady, he had:
William Milton Pile, b 1840 in TN
Sarah Etta/Letta Pile, b 11-18-1845 in TN, who married a Robert Hudson in Harrison Co., TX in 1859.
Milo Smith Pile, b 7-24-1842 in TN, married Letha Bunch in 1867 in Harrison Co., TX and later moved to Cherokee Co., TX.

Cedron then married a widow, Julia Ann Boswell Freeman and had the following children:
Thomas C.(Cedron?) Pile, b 1849
Rufus Rastus (Rough & Ready) Pile, b July 4, 1854 in Harrison Co., TX, who married Harriet Rachel Barton in 1874 in Rusk Co., TX .

If someone can help me either verify that the Thomas C. Pile, b 1784 was or was not Cedron's father, I would be immensely grateful!!
