Joseph Rhodes was born in 1832 in Camden, North Carolina. He was there in 1850, already moved out of his parents' house. In 1860 he was married, living in Wayne county, Missouri, with his first child already born.
His wife, Elizabeth Michaels, was from Tennessee. I have found a record that he and Elizabeth were married in Rhea, Tennessee. Their first child was born in 1858, so his marriage was probably between 1851 and 1858 in Rhea county, Tennessee.
If someone could look this up to confirm it to me, or could show me a place to look it up, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
