Hi all,
I am trying to find a Choate connection in Rutherford Co abt 1800,1820. My GGGmother was Elender Choate Seitz,Sitz brn abt 1801 KY?died abt 1870 Grundy Co TN. She married William B Seitz abt 1820 somewhere in IT of TN,and William was living in Warren Co as of 1830.William's father was a Andrew Seitz,Sitz,Sides from Linclon,Catawba Co NC,and lived in Warren Co as of 1820,1830,also looking for info on a Thomas Langford,Lankford brn abt 1778 Surry,Stokes? Co NC,and was in Warren Co TN as of 1830,along with his son Vachel Lankford ,and family. Vachel was believed to been brn in White Co TN abt 1804,but cannot find any info to prove the fact.
I sure would like to know what Vachel's mother Phebe,Pheobe maiden name was,and was she from NC or TN?.I also cannot find where her other son Silas Lankford was brn,but do believe it was abt 1812.
Any info would be very appreciated.
