Have you checked the Tennessee Library and Archives? I have looked in the Campbell co. Tn. marriage books at the county clerks office and found names 'marked out'. The County Clerk does not protect his records and anyone can 'black out' names from these marriage books. Its frustrating, and irresponsible, but I found the records intact at the Tennessee Library and Archives. $$ Much Luck.
