County

: Reuben (or Ruebin) Rogers is on the list of white settlers allowed and reported as below the line in Sequchee (which I assume is Sequatchie County) on Indian land. The date is 22 April 1809, and Reuben Rogers is listed as a cropper for settler Terrapin. I assume this means share cropper, and Terrapin was a Indian.
: I would greatly appreciate anybody with knowledge of the area, time frame, or individuals involved.
: Questions: 1)Would below that line mean Tennessee, Alabama, or Georgia? 2)Was this a Cherokee exclusive area, or were there other tribes that were located there? 3)Was Terrapin a Cherokee tribe member, and does anybody have information about him, or his family? 4) Who was this Reubin or Reuben Rogers related to, and did he have a wife and children?
