An E-mail I recently sent Sevier County Library Genealogy
Good afternoon Sevier County Genealogy Society,
You have a wonderful genealogy web site, full of information that I would have never been able to access. I do not live in Tennessee, where as my mother was born and raised in Sevierville. I have visited your website from time to time for the past several years. I check it every week for new material online and have visited every page, scanning for information about my Tennessee family.
I noticed that no new material has been put online for the last several months, do you not update the website any longer or have you run out of material to put online? Has funding been cut as to not be able to a lot time and money for new document transcriptions?
I just wanted to drop a note of deepest gratitude for your efforts of what is available. Thank you so much for your website and genealogy information concerning the Sevier County families.
