I just returned from Monroe co., Tn. where I visited Big Creek Church where where John and Nancy are buried. I believe they had a child Matilda Breeden born 1845 who married James M. Spurgeon in 1867 in Monroe co. their child Eliza Jane born 1868 Sevier co. tn. married William R
enfroe in 1883 in Monroe co. tn. and were my grandparents. I have info on the Breeden and Tallent families that I will be glad to share. If you know anything about Matilda and James Spurgeon, please let me know. you can email me direct if you want to. joycesamples@tds.net
